Through our Indigenous Commitment Initiative, Q4 supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment, training and enterprise across our projects. In line with the Victorian Government’s Major Projects Skills Guarantee, we target at least 30% of estimated labour hours for Victorian apprentices, trainees and cadets, and at least 25% for Aboriginal employees. We also actively engage Indigenous suppliers and aim to direct 30–60% of project spend to them where possible.

Q4 is committed to increasing gender diversity and creating genuine pathways for women across electrical, communications and professional roles. From apprenticeships and technical positions to project delivery and leadership, we work to attract, develop and retain women throughout the organisation.
Q4 is committed to ethical supply chains and the fair treatment of workers throughout them. We undertake supplier due diligence and work to identify and address modern slavery risks in alignment with the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth), alongside our broader commitment to local, Indigenous and socially responsible procurement.
Our ISO 14001-certified environmental management system guides how we minimise the impact of our work. We deliver renewable and solar capability, design for energy efficiency, prioritise locally manufactured materials and work to reduce waste throughout project delivery.
