Every board is pre-fabricated in the factory to a single non-proprietary Siemens standard, so appearance, layout and functionality stay consistent regardless of which JV manufacturer builds it. This multi-manufacturer production model lets large programs be distributed across the JV without stretching labour or blowing out delivery times, while off-site assembly removes work from the critical path and reduces on-site risk and time.
By engineering, manufacturing, integrating and testing critical systems in a controlled factory environment, Q4 shifts complexity away from site and into production. This parallel approach allows manufacturing to progress alongside site preparation, reducing onsite labour and installation requirements while improving quality control, program certainty and speed to deployment. Standardised, repeatable architecture also provides greater predictability across multi-stage and multi-site data centre programs.
Built in Australia for Australian conditions, Q4’s prefabricated solutions are designed around scalability, rapid deployment, reliability and operational certainty. Capacity can be deployed when and where it is required, enabling operators to respond to changing technology and increasing compute demands without overbuilding infrastructure from day one. The result is a more agile pathway to critical capacity — engineered for today, and ready for tomorrow.
The joint venture has been expanded to include large scale capability in the building of prefabricated assemblies with existing relationships with Hamilton Marino and MAZ Group. Both builders provide design, manufacture and assembly of high end, technological and structurally compliant prefabricated switchrooms and skids specifically for the Australian datacentre market. Q4 work closely with the data centre owners to provide turn-key solutions to meet the clients specifications.
With existing experience in building switchrooms within the group, Q4 have expanded the room capability to include two trusted builders, to provide the defined skillset and scale to manufacture high volume assemblies. Building switchrooms and skids to detailed specifications in controlled environments, provides untold benefits, including:
